ABSTRACT
LOUISE AND DAVE Married 12 years and each previously divorced, Louise and Dave find themselves in a standoff regarding parenting their two children. The couple works full-time during the week, she as an insurance-office manager and he as a heating and air-conditioning repairman. Louise has one son from her first marriage, Jack, age 15; he is doing well with peer relationships and school. His half-brother, Max, age 9, is the biological child of Louise and Dave. Both Dave and Max have been diagnosed with ADHD.
