ABSTRACT

This chapter offers a descriptive analysis of second-level digital divide in Iran with a special reference to the case of second-level digital divide among University of Tehran students. After explaining the problematic of the paper, we will introduce second-level digital divide as a conceptual framework that can explain and address second-level digital divide as a larger problematic within Iranian society. Then we will offer the methodology of this research that is in line with our conceptual framework. Finally, we will present an analysis on the empirical data that was collected through a survey study of undergraduate students of the University of Tehran.
