ABSTRACT
The Bronze Age settlements of La Mancha are among the best preserved in Europe. The massive character of the larger sites and the relative stability of the landscape they occupy make it possible to document systematically how these possible political centers were distributed with respect to one another, to other smaller sites, and to the agricultural and other resources upon which their inhabitants depended.
