ABSTRACT
Measuring of conductivity of materials of semiconductor type (foremost – oxides of transitional metals) received wide spreading in 50-60th. These researches were directly related to the new approach to the explanation of mechanism of catalysis. The new approach is related to the use of theoretical bases of physics of solid in an totality with the notions of chemical connection, that was formulated in the theory of chemosorption border layer, on one hand, and in the electronic theory of chemosorption and catalysis on semiconductors – on other.
