ABSTRACT
In Kryvyi Rig iron-ore basin throughout decades a unique situation with preservation of daylight area within the boundaries of operating and closed mines.
Due to long and intensive exploitation of Krivbass deposits by underground operations considerable areas damaged by mining operations were founded. Surface damages with craters, caves and caving zones were caused by application of different methods of development systems with ore caving and adjacent rocks at underground mining as well as the single-stall system development, when mining the overlying horizons.
