Multimodality and ICTs

The prime importance of the role of the teacher and their pedagogy, more than the technology, has been understood for a long time. Miller and Olson’s (1994) research found that the personal pedagogy of teachers could not be easily separated from the use they made of ICT and that ICT did not seem to drive practice; if anything, previous practice determined the nature of ICT use.
