ABSTRACT
In July, the focus is again split between the current year and the next. The transition work is explained below. We also complete assessments of the current year group and pass information on as required. In the environment section, I will describe briefly our end-of-year tasks. The diary section shows how the children continue to explore and learn right up until the last day of term. July: To Do List
Year 1 staff spend time in Reception class.
Reception children play in the Year 1 classroom.
Meet with nursery and Year 1 teachers to discuss children.
Finalise assessments and pass to relevant people.
Update individual folders.
Complete final cycle of focus groups, parents’ meetings and reports.
Check, clean, rearrange and order resources as necessary.
