ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I explain why it is essential to have the support of the senior management team. I also describe some activities that take place during the whole-class carpet sessions. The section about the environment looks at the carpet area indoors, role play outdoors and planting in general. The diary section has numerous examples to show how, in some instances, the adults support the next steps in children’s learning. On other occasions, the children support each other and, in many cases, they are confident and ambitious enough to take the next step themselves. March: To Do List
