ABSTRACT

The general purpose of multisource feedback (MSF) is to collect data about an individual’s performance from those working with the person being assessed in order to guide their learning and improvement. Data are compiled and presented to the person in aggregate form, often with comparator data. Individuals can then use the data to direct learning, obtain additional feedback and create a learning plan for improvement. MSF is also known as 360-degree assessment, multi-rater appraisal and full circle appraisal.
