ABSTRACT
One question we often get asked is, “Are we converging toward a common culture?” It is worded in many different ways, such as “Since most people around the world are learning English, won't we reach the point where there is one universal way of doing business?” or “Since kids today are playing video games (sometimes, the same ones) all around the world, will their common experiences overcome cultural differences?”
