ABSTRACT

The changes that are occurring as a result of mutations in interpersonal and intergenerational relationships, globalization and new technologies have led to the phenomenon of homogenization of territorial specificities, but by the same token have also prompted further discussion concerning the importance of identity of place. Present-day urban conditions appear rich in differentiation with regard to the times and ways in which the city is used, for the new typologies of spaces and the changing in the modalities of use of those already existing.
