Marketing Opportunities in the Middle East

From high mountains in the north the great land mass of Southwest Asia (commonly known as The Middle East) sprawls for 6,492,500 km. Along its northern edge are the Black Sea, the Caucasus Mountains, and the Caspian Sea. Its western shores are washed by the Mediterranean and Red Seas, its eastern and southern shores by the Arabian Sea. This region has been occupied for a long time, and by many peoples. Civilization had one beginning here. Sumerians, Babylonians, Hittites, and Assyrians successively held sway over the cities of the region. Later Persians, followed by Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Mongols, and Turks, ruled the region.
