ABSTRACT
Gudrun is a 25-year-old German American woman who has been admitted into the psychiatric unit of a local hospital. She was brought to the hospital emergency room by the police for “harassing” customers at a downtown business: She accused them of following her and attempting to control her thoughts, so she yelled at them as they walked by.
