ABSTRACT
Pay policy and the technicalities of pay structures and systems need to be understood before we can go on to consider the broader strategic issues related to rewards. In this chapter, the practical issues about pay systems are discussed and explained. Reward policy, like any other policy, is about what actions should be taken by the organization in response to different organizational and individual needs.
