ABSTRACT
The focus of this chapter is the employment relationship as it affects the individual. The chapter describes aspects of employment law relating to contracts of employment, types of employment such as part-time and fixed-term contracts, how to change contracts of employment and the termination of employment, including redundancy, pay, time off work, and paid annual and sick leave.
