Content of arsenic and heavy metals in the soils around the Novocherkassk Power Station

The results of the study conducted from 2000 to 2010 years showed that local areas have become contaminated with both total and mobile forms of copper (Cu), lead (Pb), zinc (Zn) and the mobile nickel (Ni) in the areas, which are located within a 5 km distance to the north-west of the Power Station (Tables 1 and 2).
