ABSTRACT
Ghazipur district is located in the eastern alluvial part of the Uttar Pradesh 25° 19′ to 25° 54′ N, 83° 4′ to 83°′58′. Bhagalpur district is located between 25° 13.2′ and 25° 60.8′ N and from 86° 64.08′ to 87° 54.20′ E. The southwestern monsoon brings much-needed rainfall and nearly 70% of the rainfall occurs during the months of July, August, and September. The groundwater samples were collected in space and time and analyzed following standard procedure detailed in Kumar et al. (2010).
