ABSTRACT

In this article hydraulic gradient were utilized to understand the distribution of high-As groundwater through the three groundwater flow-paths in Hetao plain, China. The three paths was all assigned along the shallow groundwater flow direction of groundwater, north from the south of Langshan Mountain, and south to the south bank of Yellow River, west to the Wuranbuh Desert, crossing two important geomorphic units, which were the piedmont alluvial plain and the Yellow River alluvial lacustrine plain.
