ABSTRACT

A dialectic relationship does not exist in and of itself. It is born of the willingness to control forces which left to themselves would only conflict with each other.

Dialectics is a learned way of thinking and acting. In creative work, the asymmetrical order of Li is something which we can attain only by paradoxical means. The work of art, in fact, is above all an artificial work. The search for oppositions, for differences, must paradoxically be the other face of the search for unity and wholeness.
