ABSTRACT
While not as nerve-wracking as putting your life at risk to protect your country, wedding planning is not a profession for the faint of heart. In fact, in a study conducted by CareerCast, Event Coordinator ranked sixth in a list of the most stressful careers, behind only Enlisted Military Soldier, Firefighter, Airline Pilot, Military General and Police Officer (Brienza 2012). Just a few of the standard measures that are used to measure job stress include travel, deadlines, competitiveness, concerns for growth potential, requirements of meeting the public and physical demands (Nelson 2013), all of which apply to the wedding consultant.
