In the wealthy consumer societies of the world, eating fresh food at the table every day of the year has become a standard part of life – so much so that no one questions its availability or even bothers to enquire how it got there in the first place. It just comes from the supermarket. But behind the scenes, the air cargo industry is a vital link in the process of feeding the world.
