ABSTRACT
This chapter seeks to outline some of the ideas, insights and strategies arising from developing a multimedia, on-line Web learning experience as a futures studies course designed for interactive learning. The development took 18 months and involved a core team of five members. The content area of futures studies at masters’ level and delivery via the World Wide Web, is in line with a key strategic direction at Southern Cross University, Australia, moving from a ‘classroom teaching’ to an ‘elsewhere learning’ organisation. Finally, principles of future learning experiences via course development for on-line WWW delivery are discussed.
