ABSTRACT
Business leaders need to establish an appropriate environment and high level guidelines of how the organization’s strategy is to be executed. Figure 11.1 shows how alignment can and, indeed, needs to be achieved from the very top of the organization with business strategy being the driver. The devised strategy will suggest a number of possible Business Operating Models (BOMs) to management. The BOM selected must be an appropriate model for the organization and is the responsibility of executive management to create.
