ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at common organizational structures and reviews their implications for communication. Given the new opportunities offered by ICT (as we described in Chapter 5), and given the need to develop a positive and coherent organizational culture (as described in Chapter 4), we need to review the impact of organizational structures. Do particular organizational structures encourage or impede organizational communication?
