Sino–Indian Relations

Sino–Indian relations in 2009 were characterised by profound ambivalence. On the one hand it saw both China and India subjected to some of the most intense attacks by the media of both countries; on the other the top leadership of the two countries worked closely on critical global issues in the relevant multilateral fora. Economic relations continued to grow at an impressive rate.
