ABSTRACT

A key question in attempting to disseminate any trail-based therapy is, can it be applied in routine practice, especially with clients who often present with additional complex problems? Underlying our approach, the ABC model provides a flexible generic model to guide assessment, formulation and intervention and has been applied to a wide variety of problems (Trower et al., 2010). This suggests that CTCH can also be adapted to address significant co-morbidities in clients experiencing command hallucinations. In this chapter we show how CTCH can be utilised with such clients, illustrating how our level 8 framework can be tailored to the client’s case-specific and changing needs.
