So far, you’ve ascertained what you want to do – now you need to work out how and where you want to do it.
What factors are driving your decision in terms of where you live? Many UK graduates move abroad to fi nd the lifestyles and career opportunities they want – and what have they got to lose? The choices shown in Table 5.1 can all impact on your future life and the opportunities within it, so consider which option in each line is most important to you. This is also a good test of how important your career is to you compared with the other elements in life. Would you move tomorrow to where the right career opportunities were for you, regardless of where that was?
