ABSTRACT
The social housing sector has a better record in equal opportunities than the construction industry, which serves it. This is not surprising when seen in the context of the social housing commitment to meeting the diverse needs of local communities, regenerating local economies and giving opportunities to all sections to benefit from social housing building programmes.
