ABSTRACT
THIS IS A WORK-BOOK FOR STUDENTS OF theology or religious studies, oranyone else who is interested, who want to find out and explore the ideas and beliefs that drive the Christian religion. It ‘gets at’ those ideas and beliefs, however, by an unusual route. In order to do justice to the fact that Christians ‘live’ their faith, it is important that those who want to understand Christianity find out how ideas and beliefs therefore work in practice. Christianity is more than a set of ideas. So its theology cannot simply be learned by reading books about beliefs.
