ABSTRACT
The Clinton Administration breezed into power with a serious emphasis on multilateralism, cooperative security, humanitarian intervention and peacekeeping. The United Nations was to be a significant tool and simultaneous partner in the struggle to craft a peaceful, democratic, post-Cold War world; something that the idealists in the Clinton team were particularly concerned with.
