ABSTRACT
Prostate cancer is the most common malignancy and the second leading cause of cancer mortality in males. Traditionally, prostate cancer was considered as a disease of the aging male, and this may be partly responsible for the delay in diagnosis and management. With the use of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing in screening programs, prostate cancer is being diagnosed at an earlier age and stage.
