Hypotension during or after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) may be due to a variety of causes that include dehydration, vasovagal reaction, cardiac arrhythmias, myocardial ischaemia, anaphylaxis, access site bleeding, retroperitoneal haematoma, and cardiac tamponade.
