ABSTRACT
Folliculitis decalvans is a severe inflammatory scalp disorder that results in cicatricial alopecia with centrifugal progression. The scalp shows multiple recurrent papulopustular lesions and exudative crusted areas. The inflammation subsides when the follicles are destroyed.
