ABSTRACT
Non-surgical management of vaginal agenesis was first advocated by Amussat in 1835, and it has taken more than 150 years for the technique to be accepted as the most effective. The aim of this chapter is to review the evidence for non-surgical management of Mullerian anomalies. In some instances the evidence is strong for non-surgical management and in others the evidence is very much against such an approach.
