ABSTRACT
Reproduction is the fundamental activity of organisms to ensure the continuation of a species from one generation to the next. Study of the reproductive system is central in understanding the basic biology as it touches every aspect of life. Particularly, the pivotal role that the uterus plays in reproduction is essential to acknowledge, for this is the very site where some of the mysteries of life begin to unfold.
