ABSTRACT

In terms of primary prevention, there is

interest in establishing a ‘risk score’ as early as

‘midlife’ (Kivipelto et al, 2006), in a way

similar to establishing the risk of cardiovascular

disease. Hopefully, there will be sufficient

evidence from prospective studies to provide

useful advice about lifestyle changes that will

reduce the risk of AD, with or without diet

and antioxidant supplementation (Panel 10.1).
