ABSTRACT
There are many ways to assess adherence for research studies. (Balkrishan
2005) Unfortunately, there aren't as many ways to do so in clinical practice.
In most cases, the best way to assess a patient's adherence may be to
simply assume they aren't using the medication well, especially in those
situations where the medication isn't working as you think it should be.
