ABSTRACT
Since the commandment 'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God' is laid upon us so imperatively, it is to be inferred that the love in question is not only the love which a soul can give or refuse when God comes in person to take the hand of his future bride, but also a love preceding this visit, for a permanent obligation is implied.
