ABSTRACT
In order to store gases in porous rock formations of
former natural gas reservoirs overlain by cap rock
formations and inhibit the gas migration for a time
period beyond the injection phase (e.g. 30 yrs.) the
geotechnical (wellbore) as well as the geologic (cap
rock) integrity should be recovered.
