ABSTRACT
Study and application in domestic and overseas have
shown that CO
acts to eliminate interfacial tension,
reduce viscosity greatly and swell net oil volume in
a CO
miscible flooding process substantially result-
ing in improvement in the production rate and en-
hancing in oil recovery (Martin & Taber 1992, Stal-
kup 1978, 1983).
