ABSTRACT
The previous chapters have clearly shown that humanity needs Nature to survive, always has, always will. Statements about the ‘end of Nature's are just hubris. If Nature ends then so do we. To think otherwise is to deny the ecological reality of how the world works. Humanity is nurtured by the Web of Life, yet we are degrading that web, and threaten half the life we share this world with. We cannot send half the life on Earth extinct (and cause ecosystem collapse), without it rebounding on us. It already is, which is why we have an environmental crisis. Hopefully, that is no longer news to you. Hopefully you also see that we have to accept reality and solve our problems.
