ABSTRACT

The didactic lesson for this week focuses on handling physical bullying , which includes a wide range of physical behaviors. Technically speaking, physical bullying involves the unprovoked systematic intimidation or physical abuse by one or more perpetrators upon a weaker victim. Within this range of behaviors, on the less threatening end of the spectrum, physical bullying includes throwing bits of paper at someone, tripping or shoving someone in the hall, or even putting a note on someone's back. On the more severe range of the spectrum, physical bullying includes hitting, kicking, pushing, or punching someone, as well as making physical threats.
