ABSTRACT
Steve Jobs was cofounder and CEO of Apple Inc. and founder and former CEO of Pixar Animation. He was a complex human being. Described as a brilliant megalomaniac, his vision for the personal computer and information technology combined with his intense focus on style and function made Apple “the temple of techno-cool.” He was innovator, agitator, and egotist-but most importantly he was a charismatic speaker who captivated employees, potential employees, and crowds of technology buff s exactly like an evangelist or demagogue. He excited people to buy into his vision and inspired them to work absurd hours, days, and months to meet ridiculous deadlines to create what he termed “killer products” that will change the world. And the teams he created and inspired were usually successful.
