Whilst dressing long hair, it is important for you to move around the client’s head. However, the client’s comfort should be considered at all times. Their back should be positioned right to the back of the chair and as fl at as possible. They should have both feet on the footrest or the fl oor. Not only will this be a more comfortable position for the client but it also enables you to create a balanced hairstyle. Check your own posture is correct, ensuring that your client’s seat is at the correct height for you to work. Your work area should be tidy and free from clutter.
