ABSTRACT
Selecting the right tool and using it in the right way, with a good blend of rigour and flexibility, is key to success in practising the art of engaged research. The preceding chapter showed the many ways in which a basic tool such as The Socratic Wheel may be adapted and scaled up or down to support effective group thinking in a wide range of settings.
