ABSTRACT
This fi nal chapter summarizes the chief ways in which aspiring CBT practitioners achieve competency, how they maintain their effectiveness, and how their work may ascend to levels of expertise. A central part of this process involves making good use of supervision early in one’s career, as well as learning and utilizing best practices as a supervisor throughout one’s career.
