The previous chapter reviewed what we know about managing-in-networks, presented a framework for the management-of-networks, and delved into three of the four fundamental management activities identifi ed: Activating, framing, and capacitating, the three network structuring activities. This chapter explores in detail the fourth activity-facilitating, which is aimed at managing member interaction, particularly decision-making, in the network.
