ABSTRACT
Introduction We are living in an era of rapid social and technological change. These changes are taking place at different rates across the globe. The pace of change in some countries has accelerated with economic growth and development. As for the advances in science and technology, these are making it possible for us to live our lives in ways we want to and they influence where we live and affect everything that is associated with living in urban as well as rural environments. Workbased facilitators need to acknowledge the impact of the diverse nature of students learning in the workplace.
