ABSTRACT

So far, we have considered our five online churches holistically, using an ethnographic approach to represent something of the norms and practices of each group and the experiences of their members. We have identified degrees of continuity and change in styles of worship, visual and architectural forms and structures of religious authority, heard from group founders about their aims and intentions, and reflected on what participants say about their own experiences and their motivations for joining these groups.
