ABSTRACT
This activity forms an ideal introduction to a discussion session - a whole-group strategy that can really kick things off in a healthy fashion (and that could also lead on to some kind of mini-group work). It’s fast-moving, gets people involved and puts individuals on the spot! It’s a suitable strategy for exploring and bringing alive any short, important historical text. The beauty of this strategy is that everybody in the class is helping everybody else. This activity might not be suitable for all texts and some might have to be interpreted flexibly.
